Well, its been a long time coming. Its been WEEKS since my last blog and even longer since my last tweet. I do have good reason though, and i hope you’ll all accept my apologies.
Firstly, there’s been quite a big illness in the family. The person involved is ok now but for a while it looked a bit bleak. Since my last blog, much has changed. I stayed at my nans for a little while then returned home to a very sorry housemate. She apologised and over a bottle of wine and all was forgotten. Not so with the boyfriend. After a long talk we realised it wasn’t working. We can’t keep pretending to be happy and well adjusted when we’re not. That way madness lies. It was sad but ultimately for the best. We’ve managed to go back to being platonic friends which is great, and probably the best way for us to be. I’m lucky that thats happened as the last thing i wanted was him to be out of my life completely.
I managed to coerce my insurers into paying for a new laptop which arrived a week or two later. Its such a bugger reinstalling all of your old programmes. You remember just how much you had.
Anyway, somehow between the break up, the family illness and the possibility of having to find a new house to rent i have managed to get some work done and some money in the bank. If i keep this up I might be in the black again soon!
